Heartland in the News!

Our animals love receiving attention and often fifteen minutes of fame leads to them finding their forever home!  Several local media outlets feature dogs and cats available for adoption as well as Heartland Animal Shelter events each week both online and in their hard copy editions.

WGN-TV’s Adopt a Pet – Heartland has been featured on WGN-TVs mid-day news program with featured pets before several of our larger events. We have been featured March 26th and January 8th in 2010; November, September 11th, July 17th, March 27th, and January 16th in 2009, and November 14th in 2008
