Trainer Suzy F. Anetsberger-Carter
 
Suzy teaches on Thursday evening.  Suzy is a Northbrook native. She holds a BA in Education/Special Ed. from Cardinal Stritch University. Through the sponsorship of the Northbrook P.D. and the Illinois Animal Control Association, Suzy was accepted at the Police Training Institute, (U of IL, Champaign/Urbana) as the first citizen to take a police training course in Animal Care and Control. Her course of studies included Animal Behavior & Psychology and working with the Police Trained Working Dog. She received her certification as an official ACCO in 1994.  She furthered her education in animal care by obtaining several positions as a veterinary assistant/tech. including the Animal Emergency Center.  She enjoys
showing dogs and horses.  Suzy has enjoyed showing various breeds in OB, Conformation and Field. Suzy put numerous obedience titles on her Golden Retriever, "Sugar Magnolia" (now deceased) including a CD, CGC, and Therapy Dog.
