Everyone knows it is the thought that counts. However, when you receive that fifth fruitcake, do you say to yourself, “It would have been nice if they would have made a donation to Heartland.” If this is something that happens to you, become an Emailing Elf for the Animals. Simply go to www.firstgiving.com/has and follow the simple instructions to create your personal holiday page. Then email your holiday page link to friends and relatives asking them to make a donation to the animals in lieu of holiday gifts. The animals will love you for it and you won’t have to regift another fruitcake!
Here's How It Works:
- Heartland is registered with firstgiving who makes it simple for you to create your personal web page to celebrate your special occasion and raise funds in honor of the animals at Heartland Animal Shelter.
- Once there, It only takes a few minutes to create your personal holiday page for the animals!
- You can personalize the text and the photo on your page to express your passions and your purpose!
- Finally send the link to your new web page out to your friends, family, colleagues - anyone you think will help you celebrate your special occasion in honor of the animals!
