Our annual walk-a-thon and run benefiting Heartland Animal Shelter was held on Saturday, July 31st at the Blue Star Memorial Forest Preserve in Glenview, IL. A record number of people and their four-legged companions attended and raised pledges this year! We are so fortunate to have such wonderful support from our community, vendors, sponsors and friends like you! Please take a minute to recognize our supporters below.
We are excited to share that the event raised approximately $20,000 for the homeless and needy animals in our community! The animals at Heartland depend on this fundraiser to raise much needed funds for food, shelter and medical care and everyone contributing made this the “best ever” walk/run for our furry friends! We would like to recognize our “top twelve pledge raisers” and everyone who went out into the community to raise pledges for the animals! You are Heartland Heroes for the animals!
