Driving Directions:
Heartland Animal Shelter is located at 2975 Milwaukee Ave, which is just south of Willow Road on the east side of Milwaukee Ave. We are right next to Preiser Animal Hospital and share the same parking lot.
Directions from the Edens Expressway - North bound:
- Exit WEST WILLOW ROAD, exit number 34A.
- Drive WEST on WILLOW ROAD (approximately 6 miles).
- Take the US-45/MILWAUKEE AVE/IL-21 ramp.
- Turn LEFT onto US-45 (.3 miles).
- Turn SLIGHT LEFT onto IL-21 (.3 miles). IL-21 becomes MILWAUKEE AVE.
- Heartland is on the left/east side of the road next to Preiser Animal Hospital.
Directions from the Edens Expressway - South bound:
- Take exit number 31, towards EAST TOWER RD.
- Keep LEFT at the fork in the ramp.
- Merge onto W FRONTAGE RD (.7 miles).
- Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto CENTRAL AVE (.3 miles).
- Turn RIGHT onto WILLOW ROAD.
- Drive WEST on WILLOW ROAD (approximately 6 miles).
- Take the US-45/MILWAUKEE AVE/IL-21 ramp.
- Turn LEFT onto US-45 (.3 miles).
- Turn SLIGHT LEFT onto IL-21 (.3 miles). IL-21 becomes MILWAUKEE AVE.
- Heartland is on the left/east side of the road next to Preiser Animal Hospital.
Directions from I-294 Tollway:
- Take the WILLOW ROAD exit.
- Drive WEST on WILLOW ROAD. (.3 miles)
- Take the US-45/MILWAUKEE AVE/IL-21 ramp.
- Turn LEFT onto US-45 (.3 miles).
- Turn SLIGHT LEFT onto IL-21 (.3 miles). IL-21 becomes MILWAUKEE AVE.
- Heartland is on the left/east side of the road next to Preiser Animal Hospital.
